We’re Bella and Maia and we both share a passion for beautiful and timeless design. We found our niche for home decorating after working together in the interior design industry for several years before forming deià in 2020. We collaborate on every project we do, bouncing ideas and selecting products until we form a concept we are both proud to present and we feel our clients will absolutely love. Bella takes care of initial client liaisons and the final concept presentation, and Maia takes care of preparing the product lists, supplier liaisons and product ordering.

Starting off my career in graphic design and product photography, it wasn't until I stepped into the world of interiors, later becoming a head property stylist, I realised my allegiance to the tactile and tangible. I love being able to embrace the individuality of each client within the home.

Design, creativity and beauty, in all their forms, is something I have always been drawn to. I have gained experience within a range of design sectors such as flooring, visual merchandising, floristry, product sourcing, and, my forever favourite, interior design within both New Zealand and Australia.
